We specialize in traditional Japanese food made with love. We use fresh, organic and local ingredients, when available, do not use MSG  and we use Tamanishiki rice to share the comforting taste of a grandma's kitchen with Kauai's Westside.

Nestled in the heart of Historic Hanapepe Town, our restaurant is a tribute to heritage and community. Our founder Keiko was inspired by her master chef father and the island's deep Japanese roots. The restaurant is named after Keiko's mother—the original Japanese Grandma.
